In 2018 someone came up with the idea to put up spotlights to light the face of Mount Pleasant. There was a big contoversy.
I doubt if those against it every came out or had been there in years.
They brought out a spotlight to give a demo what it might look like ans the newspaper did some posting on the event.
Less than 1% of the popluation can see it. It can only be seen from the west side. If you are as far as the Dairy Queen you would never know it was there.
Guess what they learned about the inverse square law in school, never registered.
Looking that direction from any distance, it is like a street light.
No one comes out to the fairgrounds to park and look up at lighted rocks.
If people come out to an event at the fairgrounds when the face is lighted, who notices?
Me n Kooky checked it out when laying on the ground and when it was up.
When people climb the trail to look over the lights are not much of a help
